Travel dates: 3 - 12 July 2017

Number of participants: 4, 6, 8 or 10 people

If possible, candidates should be registered in pairs, so that two future rope mates with approximately equal physical capabilities are signed up at once.

In any case, the number of participants must be even (together with the accompanying coach). On request, "fans" can join the tour participants: spouses, children, friends, etc. ...

Requirements for participants:

The program is designed for people in excellent physical condition who have been running/ cycling for at least six months, able to withstand up to 12 hours of continuous walking, and easily adapt to the difference in altitude, wind and low temperatures. Experience in mountain trekking would be a great advantage. No special climbing skills are required.
Tour schedule.

Arrival – day of preparation – 3 days of training – day of rest – 2 days of climbing – day of rest (reserve day in case of bad weather) – departure.

The program is designed such that the participants have time to acclimatize as much as possible before climbing the highest peak in Europe: it involves living in a mountain hotel at an altitude of 1400 m, and also three nights in mountain shelters at an altitude of more than 2000 m.

We work with professional French/English-speaking guides from Saint Gervais Guide Organization. For safety reasons, the size of the group served by 1 guide is limited to 4 people during training and up to 2 people during ascent. Insurance covering the training and ascent period is a mandatory part of the package of services.

Days of training alternate with the rest days.

The Arbois Bettex Hotel *** located at an altitude of 1400 m in the bosom of Alpine nature provides plenty of opportunities for active summer holidays. Important questions

What if the weather is bad?

It happens. Let's put it this way: in July, when the weather is already stable in the mountains, your chances of good weather conditions are about 70%.

The training will take place in any case.

If the weather does not allow you to ascend Mont Blanc, but allows you to climb another 4000 m peak (Gran Paradiso, Monte Rosa), the guide will suggest that you and your rope mate conquer one of them.

If you cannot ascend these peaks either due to bad weather conditions, the ascent will be postponed until the summer of 2018. You will not need to more training, only the acclimatization course.

What if I'm not prepared enough?

If, after 3 days of training, the guide finds that you are not prepared enough to ascend the Mont Blanc, you will be offered an ascent of another peaks.

What if I change my mind and won't ascend Mont Blanc?

For more convenience, tour participants will retain the hotel rooms for the duration of the trip.

This means that you can leave your things in the room. We do not charge an additional fee for this. We understand that the last thing our guests would want is to unpack their baggage again after returning from the route.

At the same time, we would like to remind you that every extra night spent in the hotel in addition to the 6 nights included in the costs of the tour must be paid additionally.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to count the paid overnight stays and half board in the mountain huts towards the payment for additional accommodation and half board in the hotel, as these services are provided by our partners. Thank you for your understanding.

What if I want to cancel a paid trip?

The cost of the Mont Blanc Experience program, including insurance costs, will not be refunded under any circumstances. These are our partners' conditions. The costs of equipment rental and transfers will not be refunded either.

If for some reason you want to cancel the already paid tour, the Arbois Bettex hotel will suggest you reschedule the trip for the summer of 2018.

You will retain 6 days of stay with half board.

What if I want to come with my family?

Come, of course!

The Arbois Bettex Hotel is an ideal place for family vacations with children.

Fresh alpine air, beauty, silence and an outdoor pool.

At the hotel: trekking paths, picnic areas on the Alpine grass, picturesque smooth roads for hiking through the forest and pastures, a mountain dirt monster (for kids 10+ years of age), mountain bike (including a game track for children), mini-golf, outdoor hotel pool.

Descent on the lift: indoor ice rink.

Within 15-30 minutes by car or taxi: tennis, rope adventure park (for kids 2 + years of age), rafting (for kids 6+ years of age), rock climbing (for kids 6+ years of age), bungee jumping (for kids 13+ years of age).

Children of all ages like the Merle park reserve (45 min).

There are options for family accommodation on request.

Ascent application deadline: if possible, before the end of March.

Later, there may be difficulties with reserving accommodation in the Goûter mountain hut (3817 m) – the last "gateway" before the ascent.
